Frequently asked questions
Minimum events for the modular model?
Modular becomes cost-effective from 2 events within 12 months. For one-off events, disposable builds are more suitable (cheaper upfront). Brand teams typically commit to 3-5 activation events per quarter — that's our sweet spot.
Frame storage — what if the project pauses for a year?
Free 12-month storage at the Bekasi workshop. After that, storage fee IDR 500K-1M per quarter depending on volume. We notify 30 days before charges begin.
Malls Magna has worked at?
Plaza Indonesia, Senayan City, Pondok Indah Mall, Grand Indonesia, Central Park, Mall of Indonesia, Pacific Place, Pluit Junction. For malls outside this list, we can also work — just coordinate earlier for permit familiarity.
For event #3 redesign — is modular still worth it?
Depends on scope. Re-skin only: modular advantage stays. Total re-engineer including structure: must build new (lose modular discount). Strategy: invest in flexible upfront design so the structure supports multiple future skin variations.
Can it be used for outdoor malls/large atriums?
Yes. We handle indoor malls, outdoor atriums, and rooftops. For outdoor, structures are engineered for wind load + UV resistance. Skin materials differ (weatherproof vinyl, marine plywood).
Lead time for first build?
Standard 5-6 weeks from design approval to event-ready. Compressed 3-4 weeks possible for simpler pop-ups. From event 2 onwards: 2-3 weeks (skin refresh + restore).
Payment terms event 1 vs subsequent?
Event 1: 50% DP after PO, 30% after structural fabrication, 20% after install. Event 2+: 60% DP, 40% after install (faster since structure exists).
